FRESH OFF THE TOAST
Next year the two countries will surprise the world by the upcoming Dinorilla and Reyes.
The Swedish Dino Publishing JW (Die Zombiejäger, Cannibal Fog, Hermit: Monster Killer, Root of Darkness) and the German Uprise Pictures (ABCs of Superheroes, Skatecop) have joined forces to produce two movies in love of the genre.
The collaboration want to produce the first Kaiju in Sweden. Dinorilla. Half ape, half dinosaur rampaging digesting cars causing explosions and flames.
Jonas Wolcher, producer - Dinorilla is a furry mayhem. If you like monster movies Dinorilla is something for you. We have done our homework and will do what's necessary to make it as real Kaiju should be .
The response for taking a part in the movie has been huge. At this moment we are looking what kind of possibilities we have to use bigger stars in Dinorilla. Dinorilla is based on the comic by Richard Svensson and Ola Paulakoski who also going to direct this feature. At the moment Ola is in the spotlight for the upcoming Hermit: Monster Killer
Reyes is about brutal and murderous machinations of numerous ritual executioners operating in total secrecy. A global death cult with a dark secret. We want to give it a real international flavor. Different teams in different countries like Germany, Mexico and Sweden will work together. René Wiesner, producer and co-director continues: - Cast member like Antonio Monroi (Apocalypto, México Bárbaro) and cameos by Shawn C. Phillips (Grave Encounters 2, Jersey Shore Massacre) and Bill Hutchens (The Human Centipede 2 & 3) are already confirmed.
Patrick Templin is the head director of Reyes: "Reyes will contain all the stuff the
audience want to see. An exciting mystery thriller drenched inblood and with weird sexual rituals. Just like the hiddensociety in Reyes we will keep always some information in the
shadows. So stay tuned for more!"
