Finally the kicstarter campaign for EMERGE is launched.
We are trying to raise €30.000 to start the project EMERGE
The trailer for EMERGE has been screened at several theaters in Sweden and Denmark. Even at Weekend of Hell, Europe’s biggest horror event. German magazines such as Virus and Wicked Vision saw the trailer for EMERGE and were very impressed.
EMERGE is Anneli Gelbard’s feature film debut. After winning several awards for her short film "Bad Dreams" (2006) she went to London Film Academy in 2011. There they loved the script but Anneli Gelbard and co-writer Igor Zor didn’t agree. They kept re-writing it for three more years. Last year they started sending it to competitions and the results show it was worth it.
Slamdance, Blue Cat, Cine Story, Cinequest and many more praise it. It’s been finalist or semifinalist in several ones, they’ve been invited to Los Angeles and selected to be at Kinoteka in London. Several people in the business, amongst them Philip Eissner - "Event Horizon" (1997), David Keating "Wake wood" (2010) and Brian Udovich - "Wackness" (2008) say they love the concept.
You can help too. Go to our Kickstarter home page and donate a buck to keep EMERGE going. Don't forget to #keepyourfingerscrossed.
